QTW 65 - Poor IMA4:1 Playback (1-Aug-95)

Q IMA4:1 does not seem to play very well on the PC (distant helicopter effect). Is this a known problem, or is there a special way of making these files other than SoundConverter?

A The IMA4:1 playback problem that you described is a known problem on some PCs. QuickTime for Windows 2.0.2 has better data buffering, and it solves this problem for the Forte16 sound card.
